Molding is a manufacturing process that involves shaping raw material, usually in a liquid, semi-liquid, or powdered form, into a specific desired shape using a mold or a die.
Molding for coconut charcoal briquettes involves the process of shaping and compressing coconut charcoal powder or a mixture of coconut charcoal and other ingredients into specific forms or shapes,
often resembling traditional charcoal briquettes. This process enhances the usability.
If coconut charcoal briquettes already be soft after the mixing and blending process, the briquettes will be put in the shaping machine with molding so they will get shaped.
The molding shape for charcoal briquettes is usually cubes of 25x25x25, also there are hexagons and fingers.
In several factories, they have lots of molding shapes and sizes because of the customer’s request. So they have variant molding types and widths.
Every molding width has to be detailed, let’s say the briquettes your request is a charcoal cube of :
(25.1) x (25.1) x (25.1)
But your supplier has molding size of:
(25) x (25) x (25)
Then we as suppliers have to design and build new molding for you, and it can take 4-7 days to build it because suppliers need third parties to build it.
Yes, you can. If we do not have your briquettes custom size in our molding, we can make the custom molding for you, and it takes 4-7 days to make.
You can custom molding for every size you want, whether it’s a cube with 25,1³ size, or you can custom unique shapes for the molding such as a star shape, love shape, ring shape, etc.
With an addition, the shape has to be the same width and volume. If you request to have a cone shape, then molding cannot do that. Or maybe for example you want a unique logo in your brand such as Real Madrid or Barcelona logo, then molding cannot make that 😂.
In our factory, we even have a molding of a 5x5x5 cube, which is large. But it can be made and we can produce it for our customer by request.
The point is, almost all suppliers cannot build custom molding for “samples”. So if you need a sample of a 25.1³ cube, then suppliers cannot build it unless you pay for the molding price.
Why? Because if the supplier pays for the molding by themselves for the samples you request, then you just get their samples without a willingness to start a deal with them. Then it will be a waste of money for the suppliers.
Most suppliers want to build molding if you already deal with them, if you want a sample, then they will give you the size molding they have (that is close to yoursize request).
But if you just want custom samples and still do not know about your dealing with them or not, then they will not make you the custom-size molding.

But if you still don’t know and not make a business decision yet, we recommend you get a sample from our molding, we have a common molding shape such as cube, hexagon, finger, flat circle, etc. With a common size demand such as cube 25³, hexagon 2,5 width, 2,4 width, and 2,1 width.
But if you need custom samples, then we cannot build them unless you pay for the molding price.
For how much light the briquettes, is not that big of a deal. Because custom molding is just focused on their shape width. For length, we can cut it at your request with our cutting machine.
Molding price depends on the size request, but the price range is about, Rp 600.000
With building time that takes about 3-7 days.
So if you need custom molding as soon as possible, then we recommend you ask us in 9 or 8 days before.
